Education

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), school wellness programs can have a positive impact on academic performance, improve students’ health outcomes, and reduce high-risk behaviors. Various strands of research confirm that children tend to do better in school when they are holistically healthy. They are less likely to miss their classes, be more attentive, participate in positive activities, be happy, and achieve better scores overall.

We have developed solutions by presenting a partnership opportunity with middle schools not only to benefit athletes but the whole community through education. To help stay ahead and assure satisfaction Lights Out Performance believes all young people should have access to safe places and caring adult mentors who help them grow socially, athletically, emotionally and academically. Coaches have a unique opportunity to teach youth valuable life skills, like how to set goals and introduce themselves to someone new, using sports and wellness as a platform.
